Paul D. Hart is an award-winning writer and director whose work combines emotionally grounded performances with a strong visual sense of rhythm, atmosphere, and restraint. His films often center on people carrying more than they can articulate, through trauma, grief, fractured families, adolescence, and relationships under pressure.

His short film Three Fingers screened internationally and received four awards and three nominations, including honors from the Nashville, Sidewalk, and Oxford film festivals. His directing work also spans music videos, comedy and episodic production, from intimate narrative pieces to a four-camera studio series.

With a background in editing, cinematography and more than twenty years of film and television production, Hart approaches directing through performance, image, pacing, and the emotional weight of what remains unsaid.
